Jeff Brinkman, Ecology’s President and Principal Ecologist, has 12 years of experience as an environmental consultant, specializing in biological habitat assessment and restoration, biomonitoring and rapid bioassessment, watershed assessment and planning, environmental impact analysis and mitigation, and wetlands and water quality permitting.  He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies in 1996, and a Master’s Degree in Ecology in 2007. 

Darren Howe, Senior Ecologist and Project Manager, has 8 years of experience as an environmental consultant, specializing in biological habitat assessment and restoration, special-status species surveys including protected trees, environmental impact analysis and mitigation, wetlands and water quality permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, and erosion control.  He is a Certified Arborist, and graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aquatic Biology in 2000.

Todd Easley, Senior Ecologist and Project Manager, has 8 years of experience as an environmental consultant, specializing in biological habitat assessment and restoration, special-status species surveys, water quality monitoring, environmental impact analysis and mitigation, wetlands and water quality permitting, environmental compliance monitoring, and erosion control.  He graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies in 2000, and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Griffith University, Queensland, Australia in 2004. 

Jamie Brinkman, Communications and Marketing Director, manages many aspects of company operations including marketing, accounting, communications, and our website.  She graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications in 2006.
